Attempts to tarnish my wife’s image’: Ravindra Jadeja on father’s statement against his wife Rivaba
Ravindra Jadeja has issued a response to the remarks made by his father regarding his wife, Rivaba Jadeja. During an interview with a newspaper, Anirudhsinh Jadeja expressed regret over his son’s marriage and accused Rivaba Jadeja of causing division within the family. In light of his father’s comments, Ravindra Jadeja advised disregarding the content of rehearsed interviews.
In a statement shared on social media, Jadeja expressed his strong disagreement with the content of the questionable interview published by Divya Bhaskar. He dismissed the mentioned claims as both meaningless and false, emphasizing that they were one-sided comments that he denies. Furthermore, he criticized the attempt to tarnish his wife’s reputation, deeming it inappropriate and deserving of condemnation. While acknowledging that he has a lot to say on the matter, Jadeja decided it would be best not to disclose those details publicly.
Regarding the problems in their relationship, Jadeja’s father revealed that they originated when Ravindra and Rivaba tied the knot in April 2016. He also disclosed that there is nothing but animosity between the two families. Expressing his deep regret, Jadeja’s father lamented the situation, stating that it pains him as a father to witness the turmoil. He even expressed a wish that his son had not entered into marriage, suggesting that it would have spared them from enduring such hardships, particularly in light of Jadeja’s career as a cricketer.
Additionally, he mentioned that after three months of their marriage, she informed him that all assets should be transferred under her name. Jadeja’s father expressed that she desired a life independent from the family and did not want any connection with them. He questioned whether it was fair to hold the entire family responsible if he and Nayaba, Ravindra’s sister, were mistaken. “There is no bond with anyone in the family, only animosity,” he concluded.
Jadeja recently sustained a hamstring injury in the Hyderabad test that he is currently recovering from.
