He underwent an MRI scan and various other medical tests. According to a senior official at the hospital, Mithun’s health has improved, and he has been discharged. The actor-turned-politician, who is also a leader of the BJP, mentioned that he is completely fine and there is no actual problem. He emphasized the need to control his food habits and expressed the possibility of resuming work soon, perhaps as early as tomorrow.

Mithun Chakraborty recently revealed that he had a phone conversation with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday. During their chat, Modi expressed his concern for Mithun’s well-being and scolded him for not taking better care of himself.
Before this, the hospital had released an official statement about Chakraborty’s health. The statement mentioned that the renowned actor, aged 73, was admitted to Apollo Multispeciality Hospitals in Kolkata due to weakness in his right upper and lower limbs. The hospital conducted various tests, including an MRI of the brain, and diagnosed him with an Ischemic Cerebrovascular Accident (Stroke) of the brain.

“Presently, he is fully conscious, well-oriented, and has consumed a soft diet. Shri Chakraborty is being further evaluated by a team of doctors, including a neuro-physician, a cardiologist, and a gastroenterologist,” the statement further read.
For the uninitiated, on March 7, 2021, Mithun Chakraborty officially became a member of the BJP party. This significant event took place at the iconic Brigade Parade Ground in Kolkata, where Prime Minister Narendra Modi was also present.
